Resource Management & Budgeting Support Analyst

About the role

EY is seeking a highly detail-oriented analyst to join its Global Delivery Services team, which supports EY's consulting, assurance, tax, strategy and transactions, and enablement services. The role suits someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in analytical work and likes turning complexity into clarity. You will work closely with project managers, workstream leads and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update resource allocation plans across teams and workstreams
• Track utilization, capacity and upcoming resource needs
• Support scheduling decisions by surfacing constraints, risks and alternatives
• Liaise with workstream leads to confirm assignments and resolve conflicts
• Assist with project budgets and forecasts, reconcile planned versus actuals and flag variances
• Prepare draft PowerPoint presentations for EY Executive Management and produce simple summaries from large datasets
• Perform numeric analysis in Excel/Pivot and ask clarifying questions when data is unclear
• Support process documentation and accept project-based work when not engaged in core tasks

Required profile

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in analytical, PMO, resource management, operations or financial support roles
• Strong comfort with numbers, spreadsheets and structured data in complex environments
• Attention to detail, ownership and accountability, and an analytical mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work independently and across teams

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas and data validation
• Nice to have: experience with large-scale or global programs, familiarity with Mercury or budgeting tools, exposure to executive reporting, and matrixed or professional-services environments
