Finance Optimization Manager (FAAS)

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services Argentina is looking for a FAAS Manager specializing in controllership process improvements. The role supports the FAAS team in delivering finance transformation solutions for clients, combining process improvement, technology implementation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Study end-to-end processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements, and design business and process models
• Help define the finance target operating model and the finance technology strategy, architecture and roadmap
• Execute technology-led enterprise transformation projects for clients
• Support process and control, ideally as an expert in the financial statement close, procure to pay, order to cash, inventory, fixed assets and risk management
• Capture reporting requirements, analyze source data and deliver reports on time
• Design interactive reports and dashboards with Power BI
• Take part in proposals, new service offerings and go-to-market strategies, and maintain client management relationships
• Mentor and coach junior staff

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting, financial advisory, industry or a related field
• Thorough understanding of finance and accounting processes, including upstream business processes; operational accounting experience is a plus
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours, and access to reliable transport to the office and client sites (driver's license strongly recommended)

• SAP and other ERPs, and reporting tools such as Blackline, Trintech and Hyperion
• Consolidation, reporting, inter-company and ERP data structures
• PowerPoint, Excel and presentation skills
• Data analysis and familiarity with AI, automation and dashboarding tools
• Leadership, communication and collaboration skills
