Resident Support Representative (Remote)

About the role

GC Realty & Development manages homes for about 1,500 residents in Chicago and is looking for a bilingual customer service professional based in Argentina. The office runs on U.S. Central Time, only 2 to 3 hours behind Argentina, so there are no overnight shifts and real-time collaboration with teammates and residents. The representative answers calls, chats, texts and emails, solves problems quickly and helps coordinate move-outs and administrative work.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for residents by phone, chat, SMS and email, giving timely and accurate answers
• Review and respond to every message in inboxes and text threads
• Work with maintenance, leasing, accounting and other teams to find solutions for residents and property owners
• Represent the company's service standard in every conversation, including complaints
• Join weekly team meetings and regular one-on-ones with the manager, and share process improvements in L10 meetings
• Cover teammates in other Resident Service roles when needed and take on extra projects

Required profile

• At least 3 years of customer service experience supporting U.S. customers
• Advanced, fluent English with clear pronunciation
• Ability to handle difficult conversations patiently and professionally
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to stay calm under pressure
• Stable internet connection and a quiet, dependable home office

What we offer

• $5.00 to $7.00 USD per hour, paid weekly
