Remote Hospitality Bookkeeper (Contractor)

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support our hospitality clients. You will work remotely, handling daily hotel accounting tasks and providing accurate financial reports for high‑growth companies.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile daily hotel transactions, including room revenue, food & beverage, and ancillary sales.
• Maintain general ledger entries and ensure timely month‑end close.
• Prepare and deliver financial statements and custom reports for client leadership.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting principles and daily financial operations.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
