Regulatory Specialist – South Cone

About the role

EBANX is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to lead the interpretation, monitoring and strategic application of payment regulations across the South Cone and broader LATAM region. You will act as the bridge between regulatory requirements and business execution, ensuring compliance while enabling growth.

Key responsibilities

• Decode and stress‑test regulations, turning constraints into executable business strategies in partnership with commercial, product and operations teams.
• Maintain continuous regulatory intelligence, anticipate shifts in Argentine and regional payment frameworks, and position EBANX for first‑mover opportunities.
• Provide structured regulatory monitoring and reporting to senior leadership, translating complex legal developments into actionable insights.
• Review contracts through a regulatory lens, flagging gaps and ensuring alignment with evolving requirements.
• Lead risk assessments and regulatory pathway mapping for new market entry, supporting rapid and compliant expansion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payments or fintech, preferably with companies regulated by the BCRA.
• Strong track record in regulatory compliance, risk management and legal advisory in fast‑paced environments.
• Deep knowledge of Argentine payment regulations and ability to anticipate cross‑jurisdictional changes.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent drafting, reporting and presentation skills.
