QA Tester – Consumer Applications

About the role

Pyyne is looking for a QA Tester with experience in consumer applications to join its Argentinian office and support a large US‑based tech client. The role involves partnering with product teams to monitor and improve quality across internal and external products used by hundreds of thousands of users daily.

Key responsibilities

• Work with client engineering teams to ensure key features and product changes are built to specification and thoroughly tested before release.
• Investigate post‑launch bug reports and help prioritize the highest‑impact issues to improve overall product quality.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience using QA tools and performing manual testing of native iOS/Android apps, web applications and APIs.
• Native fluency in Spanish and fluent English for daily collaboration with global teams.

Required skills

• Jira or Linear (bug tracking).
• Test management tools such as TestMo, Xray or TestRail.
• Build management platforms: GitHub, Bitrise, Firebase.
• Testing of native iOS and Android applications.
• Testing of web applications and backend APIs.
• Comfort with terminal/command‑line operations.
• Familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio.
• Basic experience writing or executing automated tests within a framework.
• Use of Postman or proxy tools like Charles or Proxyman (nice to have).
