QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Avatria is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join its Services team. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of commerce and content systems for customers through both manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Execute thorough manual tests (functional, regression, smoke) and document results.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts using industry‑standard frameworks.
• Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects, providing clear reports to development teams.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC.

Required profile

• Professional experience in software quality assurance for enterprise‑level applications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
• API testing tools like Postman or REST.
• Testing of responsive and native mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) – nice to have.
• SQL for data validation – nice to have.
