Project Manager

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Project Manager in Buenos Aires. Working in a sponsor-dedicated model, you will lead and coordinate project activities so that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Your focus is coordinating project and programme management delivery, resolving issues and developing team capability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinate their efforts and facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues and implement strategies to keep projects on track.
• Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and keep them aligned with project goals.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business or a related field preferred, with significant project management and team leadership experience.
• Proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish within scope, time and budget.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, able to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
