Project Manager – Intelligent Transportation Systems

About the role

Kapsch, a leading global technology company in Intelligent Transportation Systems, is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead complex ITS projects. The role involves planning, executing, and delivering projects that meet customer expectations and create value for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and close projects while aligning with business goals and contractual commitments.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Manage contracts, changes, claims, and scope variations in coordination with relevant parties.
• Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Provide regular status reports covering progress, risks, issues, and financial health.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Project Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Proven ability to manage medium to large‑scale projects and coordinate diverse teams.
