Product Owner – Talent Community

About the role

Job Duck is looking for a Product Owner to lead the Talent Community product, shaping the portal experience and the journeys of candidates and staffers. This remote position works Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM‑5:30 PM EST, and focuses on delivering measurable value through data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Talent Community strategy into clear product goals, success metrics, and backlog priorities.
• Maintain a transparent backlog and roadmap, prioritising by value, effort, risk and dependencies.
• Facilitate the Talent Community Committee cadence for intake, prioritisation, decision‑making and escalation.
• Publish outcome readouts tied to KPIs and experiments, using insights to re‑prioritise work.
• Define “ready” work with user stories and acceptance criteria for features, enhancements and workflows.
• Partner with cross‑functional owners to clarify scope, manage trade‑offs and ship high‑quality iterations.
• Represent the candidate/staffer voice throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead continuous improvement using feedback and performance data, running pilots/A‑B tests when appropriate.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role with backlog ownership.
• Proven ability to define success metrics (KPIs) and use performance insights to adjust roadmaps.
• Experience with experimentation and measurement (A/B testing, segmentation).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
