Product Manager On‑Ramp & Swap (100% remote)

About the role

Tether is looking for a Product Manager to own the buying and swapping experience for USDT and XAUT in the Tether Wallet. You will shape the strategy, partner ecosystem and in‑app experience across multiple markets, ensuring users can convert fiat or tokens quickly and affordably.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for fiat on‑ramps, card payments, local payment methods and token‑to‑token swaps.
• Map payment landscapes in target markets and select the best on‑ramp or swap partners.
• Lead partner onboarding, from evaluation and due diligence to integration and go‑live.
• Translate partner APIs into product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Design routing logic that selects the optimal partner based on country, currency, amount and availability.
• Monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, approval rates, KYC drop‑off and cost‑to‑user, and iterate to improve performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience in banking, payments or fintech.
• 3+ years of product management in DeFi or crypto.
• Proven track record of evaluating, selecting and managing external partners.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with experience defining and tracking funnel KPIs.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of crypto wallets, DeFi features, token swaps and DEX aggregators.
• Knowledge of global payment systems, Visa/Mastercard, 3‑D Secure, chargebacks, bank transfers, instant payment rails and mobile money.
• Hands‑on experience with fiat on‑ramp/off‑ramp or swap providers and API integration.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML requirements and their impact on user onboarding.
