Principal Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist

About the role

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a Principal SOC Specialist to lead incident response and threat detection across its fintech platforms. You will work in a collaborative, hybrid environment, driving the full lifecycle of security incidents and enhancing our security monitoring capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, triage, and investigate cyber threats to protect infrastructure and data.
• Lead the alert development cycle and manage the full incident response lifecycle (investigation, containment, eradication, recovery).
• Collect, track, and report metrics on security incidents and alerts.
• Collaborate with internal customers, vendor support teams, and Cybersecurity/IT groups to ensure optimal use of security tools.
• Align security priorities with business needs and drive process improvements.

• Proven experience delivering measurable results in cyber threat detection and incident response.
