Part‑Time Bilingual Case Manager Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English‑Spanish) Case Manager Assistant to support a Florida personal injury law firm on a part‑time, remote basis. The role involves managing case files from intake through resolution while maintaining clear communication with clients and insurance companies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal injury case management, including intake, documentation, and resolution tracking.
• Communicate case updates and gather required information from English‑ and Spanish‑speaking clients.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to monitor claim status and obtain necessary documentation.
• Request, receive, and organize medical records, billing statements, and lien information.
• Schedule appointments with medical providers and maintain accurate case data in the firm’s case‑management software.
• Track deadlines, appointments, and case milestones, ensuring timely follow‑ups.
• Prepare and file Civil Remedy Notices (CRN) and support attorneys with administrative tasks.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a Case Manager Assistant in a Florida personal injury law firm.
• Proven experience handling personal injury cases, insurance claims, and medical‑record management.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Experience with legal case‑management software such as Smokeball (preferred), Clio, or Filevine.
• Proficiency in managing electronic case documentation and calendars.
