Onboarding Coordinator – LATAM

About the role

The Onboarding Coordinator will support the onboarding of project‑based hires for TransPerfect across the United States, Canada and LATAM. You will act as the main point of contact between new employees, recruiters, HR and payroll to ensure a smooth and compliant start.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of onboarding for project‑based employees, ensuring all steps are completed on time for payroll.
• Set up hire profiles in the HRIS system and request/verify required documentation.
• Coordinate with hires and managers on project start‑up preparations.
• Answer employee queries on onboarding, timecards, policies and payroll.
• Process unemployment claims, employee verification requests and regular off‑boardings.
• Review and adjust timecards, apply paid sick‑leave policies and prepare payroll reports.
• Handle email, phone and messaging inquiries and direct complex issues to appropriate HR personnel.
• Support special projects and other ad‑hoc HR tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Administrative experience, preferably in HR or recruitment.
• High accuracy, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate with global teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS tools.
