Network Security Specialist N2

About the role

Soutec LLC is looking for a Network Security Specialist N2 to design, implement, and secure complex enterprise networks for its LATAM customers. This full‑time remote position focuses on delivering high‑performance, secure network solutions while supporting ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and secure enterprise network infrastructures, including routing, switching, and wireless components.
• Perform network implementation, configuration, and support for large financial, service‑provider, and cloud‑based environments.
• Conduct site surveys, create implementation and test plans, and document changes.
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security controls.
• Provide tier‑2 support and ensure compliance with security best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in wireless networking, routing, network support, implementation, and design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and ability to work remotely across LATAM.

Required skills

• Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Aruba equipment.
• Routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.
• Advanced switching: VLAN, Nexus vPC, VSS, OTV, spanning‑tree, port‑channels.
• Wireless technologies: RF principles, site surveys, WLC/AP management.
• Security technologies: Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), SASE, NGFW, NAT, ACL, IPSEC, SSL‑VPN, DMVPN, IPS/IDS, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto.
