About the role

Avenga is seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to lead enterprise‑scale cloud transformation for a telecommunications client. You will design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code and implement GitOps, observability and event‑driven architectures.

Key responsibilities

Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Bitbucket, ArgoCD, FluxCD and Helm.
Implement IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation for AWS services.
Manage containerised workloads with Docker, OpenShift, ECS/EKS and Kubernetes.
Set up monitoring, alerting and log management with Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana and tools such as Logstash, FluentD, Splunk.
Develop event‑driven solutions using AWS SQS, SNS and Apache Kafka.

Required profile

4+ years of hands‑on DevOps/Cloud engineering in enterprise environments.
Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
Extensive experience with AWS core and serverless services.
