Localization Project Manager (Late Shift)

About the role

Acclaro is seeking a Localization Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of localization programmes on a late‑shift schedule. You will coordinate resources, manage schedules, mitigate risks and ensure high‑quality outcomes for global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of localization projects, ensuring quality, schedule, budget and client requirements are met.
• Coordinate activities across linguists, vendors, engineers, DTP specialists and quality teams.
• Build and maintain project plans, track milestones and communicate progress.
• Allocate resources, monitor utilization and resolve capacity challenges.
• Serve as primary operational contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure workflows, client‑specific processes and quality controls are followed.
• Prepare estimates, quotes and monitor budget performance.
• Utilize translation management systems and AI‑enabled tools to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing localization projects in a language‑services or similar global delivery environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational and communication skills across cultures and time zones.
• Understanding of localization workflows, quality management and project financials.

Required skills

• Experience with translation management systems such as MemoQ, Smartling, XTM or Plunet.
• Proficiency in project‑management platforms and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled localization technology and automation capabilities.
