Local SEO Specialist – Google Business Profile & Off‑Page

About the role

We are looking for a Local SEO Specialist to manage Google Business Profiles, citations and off‑page link building for high‑ticket landscaping, contracting and home‑service clients. You will work remotely and collaborate closely with an on‑page strategist to drive Map Pack visibility and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise Google Business Profiles – posts, photos, services, review responses and competitor monitoring.
• Build and audit citations ensuring NAP consistency with tier‑one, locally relevant sources.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end link‑building campaigns, including vendor management, outreach and verification.
• Own Map Pack visibility and domain rating outcomes, monitoring performance and addressing drops within 24‑48 hours.
• Tag calls in CallRail and ensure clean lead attribution.
• Co‑sign keyword targets with the on‑page counterpart.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing GBP, citations and link‑building for local service businesses.
• Proven record of improving Map Pack rankings.
• Experience handling off‑page SEO for multiple clients simultaneously.
• Comfortable using Local Dominator or BrightLocal, SEMrush and CallRail.
• Daily use of AI tools for drafting, outreach and research.
