Language Alignment & Resource Partner (Canadian French) – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for independent Language Alignment & Resource Partners (LARPs) who are native‑level speakers of Canadian French to support a specialized AI data project. As a freelance AI trainer, you will ensure that AI outputs are linguistically accurate, culturally appropriate, and free from bias.

Key responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and test AI‑generated text for grammatical correctness, naturalness, and cultural relevance.
• Act as the primary quality‑check during production, identifying and correcting subtle cultural errors or awkward phrasing.
• Analyze quality trends and create educational resources or feedback documentation to improve alignment between AI outputs and project expectations.
• Provide native‑level language vetting and linguistic consultation throughout project scaling.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience or education in linguistics, education, or a field requiring high linguistic precision.
• Prior hands‑on experience in human data evaluation or annotation.
• Verified Canadian French proficiency at C1 or C2 level.
• Ability to transform raw feedback and quality trends into structured, actionable resources.
• Meticulous attention to detail, capable of spotting even the most subtle unnatural phrasing.
