Integration Architect - SAP & Enterprise Platforms

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services is looking for an Integration Architect for its SAP and enterprise platform practice. The role designs, implements and governs domain-specific integrations across the enterprise SAP and non-SAP landscape, connecting SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors and third-party systems. It reports to the Global Integration Architect Lead and acts as the primary integration design owner for assigned domains such as O2C, P2P, R2R and HCM.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end integration flows for SAP and non-SAP systems, applying standard patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch, synchronous/asynchronous)
• Produce integration design specifications, mappings and interface contracts for building teams and system integrators
• Design integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management) and leverage standard SAP APIs and events to minimise custom development
• Support integration testing, defect resolution and performance tuning
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements and Clean Core principles, and avoid point-to-point integrations unless approved
• Work with Solution, Data and Cloud & Infrastructure Architects on solution, data semantics and runtime requirements
• Support build and deployment teams, integration testing, cutover planning and go-live support, and maintain integration documentation

Required profile

• 10 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations in SAP-centric environments
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA, Ariba and/or SuccessFactors with other SAP and non-SAP systems
• Practical experience with SAP Integration Suite or equivalent middleware platforms
• Preferred: large SAP program experience (S/4HANA transformation, Ariba or SuccessFactors rollouts), event-driven architectures, API lifecycle management and exposure to global, multi-region environments
