HR Business Partner – Argentina

About the role

Nexo is seeking an HR Business Partner to become the primary People & Culture liaison for its Argentina entity. The role combines HR generalist duties with end‑to‑end ownership of recruitment, payroll, compliance and office management in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line HR support to managers and employees, handling performance conversations and policy guidance.
• Partner with the Argentina General Manager on team structure, people decisions and daily HR operations.
• Manage full onboarding and off‑boarding cycles, including termination documentation, severance calculations and statutory exit procedures.
• Support quarterly performance and OKR cycles using Nexo’s performance management tools.
• Coordinate and execute the complete payroll process, including salary payments and social security contributions.
• Ensure compliance with Argentine labor law, AFIP/ANSES registration, and relevant collective bargaining agreements.
• Administer local benefits and assist employees with entitlement questions.
• Lead recruitment activities: source candidates, screen, coordinate interviews and prepare offers.
• Oversee local office facilities, workstation allocation and vendor relationships.
