HR Business Analyst – Power Platform & Automation

About the role

The Talent Innovation & Analytics (CATALYST) team at EY Global Delivery Services is seeking a senior HR Business Analyst to drive talent‑focused process improvement, reporting, and automation across the United States. You will partner with senior talent leaders, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver insights using Microsoft Power Platform and AI‑enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with senior talent leadership to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities for measurable business value.
• Lead discovery sessions, process reviews, and stakeholder workshops to identify automation, reporting, and transformation opportunities.
• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, solution designs, roadmaps, and project plans.
• Analyze workforce data, create executive‑ready dashboards and visualisations, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot and other Microsoft 365 tools.
• Maintain documentation, training materials, governance standards, and adoption plans for new tools and processes.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience in business analysis, people analytics, HR reporting, process improvement, or technology enablement.
• Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects from discovery through implementation and adoption.
• Strong business acumen in talent operations, HR strategy, and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and global, distributed teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI‑enabled productivity tools, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
• People‑analytics capabilities: data cleansing, validation, trend analysis, dashboard development, and data governance.
• Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, or Taleo (preferred).
• Technical knowledge of VBA, SharePoint development, Dataverse, SQL, and Python is a plus.
