Head of Paid Media (Paid Acquisition)

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with in-house roles at its clients; this is a full-time, independent contractor position for a Head of Paid Acquisition. The client is a growth marketing partner for DTC and e-commerce brands, with a history of scaling over 150 brands and managing half a billion dollars in revenue. The role focuses on Meta Paid Media: lowering acquisition costs, increasing scaling efficiency and building creative testing systems, working closely with the CEO and Director of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and run the end-to-end Meta paid acquisition strategy, including campaign setup, optimization and scaling
• Lead creative strategy through briefs, direct-response feedback to designers and analysis of hooks, angles and messaging
• Monitor ad accounts daily and adjust budgets and campaign structures
• Build systems for creative testing, performance reporting and conversion funnel optimization
• Develop high-converting landing pages, advertorials and product pages aligned with active campaigns
• Track and report CAC, CPA, ROAS, MER and CVR, and give actionable insights to leadership
• Run competitor research and lead client strategy calls
• Work with video editing and design teams to speed up testing and find winning creative

Required profile

• 5+ years of performance marketing experience, specialized in Meta Ads Manager
• Proven track record scaling high-spend e-commerce or DTC accounts
• Strong creative strategy and ad copy writing
• Self-motivated, able to thrive where pay is tied to performance and KPIs
• Availability during core business hours (up to 4 PM EST)

Required skills

• Direct-response metrics (CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV) and attribution tools such as Triple Whale, Northbeam or Hyros
• Nice to have: Meta Blueprint certification, CRO knowledge, team leadership experience, UGC creator management
