Guest Services Officer

About the role

Join Royal Caribbean International’s onboard team and be the first friendly face guests encounter at sea. As a Guest Services Officer you will deliver the "Wow" experience, handling guest inquiries, cash transactions and problem resolution while sailing on one of our innovative cruise ships.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly with a sincere welcome and clear communication.
• Provide cash and guest account services, including cash payments, check cashing and foreign‑currency exchange.
• Resolve guest issues efficiently, demonstrating strong problem‑resolution skills.
• Operate basic office equipment such as telephones, computers and copy machines.
• Participate in emergency life‑saving drills and required safety training.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer‑contact role within the hotel, cruise or related industry.
• At least one year of cash‑handling experience with knowledge of U.S. currency and exchange rates.
• Excellent English communication; fluency in an additional language (French, Italian, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Portuguese or Dutch) is required.
• Ability to obtain necessary visas (C1/D) and meet physical requirements for shipboard duties.
