Freelance Technical Newsletter Copywriter

About the role

A growing newsletter is looking for a freelance copywriter to help shape its voice. The writer should have hands-on experience with large, fast-scaling publications and be fluent in deeply technical subject matter. The company values original craftsmanship and wants writers who can turn engaging copy into leads and engagement, not AI-generated or recycled content. The role is fully remote, open to candidates in Latin America, paid by the project with monthly settlement via Deel.

Key responsibilities

• Do deep research into tech and AI subject matter.
• Write newsletter content with an engaging, sharp tone.
• Manage writing tasks and deadlines effectively.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing for large, scaling newsletters, with solid, measurable impact on engagement.
• Ability to write in a Morning Brew-style voice applied to technical topics.
• Previous experience in SaaS, Fintech or other software-oriented ventures.
• Strong research skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of tools such as Grammarly, Hemingway and ClickUp.
