Freelance Graphic Designer (Photoshop & InDesign)

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a freelance Graphic Designer with strong Photoshop and InDesign skills to produce print‑ready mechanicals for global clients. You will work closely with a talented team of Mechanical Artists, Designers, and Project Managers in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Studio Project Managers and Senior Mechanical Artists to implement content across a variety of mechanicals.
• Provide multiple layout solutions and manage a high‑volume workload while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Complete checklists for all tasks to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Create and update mechanical templates with new specifications.
• Manage file processes, including naming, archiving, and version control.
• Perform quality‑control checks on own and peer work.
• Enforce client confidentiality policies and document any issues for consistency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical production, printing, or related technology.
• BA in Graphic Design, Print Media, or equivalent; prepress background a plus.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat); working knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.
• Proactive attitude toward skill development and self‑improvement.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work both independently and within a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to navigate complex processes.
