TikTok and Reels Video Editor & Content Creator

About the role

We are seeking a social‑native video editor and content creator to produce short‑form TikTok and Instagram Reels videos. The role is remote, part‑time (≈20 hours/week) with the possibility to increase hours as the workload grows.

Key responsibilities

• Transform long‑form assets (podcasts, interviews, Zoom calls) into native 9:16 short‑form clips for TikTok and Reels.
• Identify and edit viral moments without detailed clip‑by‑clip instructions.
• Add captions, music, overlays, visual effects and transitions that match brand tone and platform trends.
• Produce same‑day, mobile‑first edits for time‑sensitive content.
• Stay ahead of TikTok and Reels trends, formats, sounds and editing styles.

Required profile

• Deep familiarity with Gen Z culture and the tone, pacing, and hooks that drive engagement on TikTok and Reels.
• Ability to work quickly, experiment with trends, and deliver high‑quality social content consistently.
• Independent thinker who can pitch, refine and execute editorial ideas without extensive direction.
• Passionate about editing and shipping compelling short‑form stories.

Required skills

• Professional video editing (experience with industry‑standard editing software).
