Finance Specialist - Budget Control and Reporting

About the role

Rio Tinto is hiring a Finance Specialist for its Rincon lithium project in Salta, Argentina, to join the finance team supporting the finance manager in the monthly budget control process. The position is temporary, for an estimated period of 6 months, based in the Salta office.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the budget for capital investments
• Provide financial support to the operations team, including cost analysis
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and processes
• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support decision-making
• Support planning processes by interacting with other areas

Required profile

• Firm commitment to safety and the safety of the team
• Degree in Public Accountant or in Administration
• Experience in budget analysis, planning and control of operating expenses and capital investments

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel
• English
• SAP (not exclusive)
