Finance Internal Audit Analyst

About the role

World Business Lenders is seeking a Finance Internal Audit Analyst to lead a pod of four Internal Audit Analysts. The role combines hands‑on audit fieldwork with supervision of the audit team, focusing on loan operations, post‑closing activities, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audits of loan origination, underwriting, servicing, collections, and post‑closing processes.
• Review and provide feedback on audit workpapers, testing results, and reports to ensure quality and methodology consistency.
• Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and internal policies.
• Track remediation actions, validate corrective measures, and draft comprehensive audit reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Auditing or related field.
• 6‑8 years of internal audit experience, preferably in loan operations or financial services.
• Proven ability to supervise staff, manage multiple deadlines, and perform hands‑on audit testing.
• English proficiency at C1 level (advanced) with strong written and verbal communication.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) required; CPA, CISA, CRMA or CFE are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment and audit concepts.
• Familiarity with loan operations, post‑closing and compliance functions.
• Experience with ERP and workflow platforms such as LAPro, QuickBase, Monday.com.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
