Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst supports operational and financial effectiveness by analyzing results, preparing reports, and providing insightful explanations for quarter‑end earnings, forecasts and plan deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze monthly operating variances, summarize key business metrics and compare actual results to forecasts and plans.
• Develop and maintain reports to assess historical expense performance and project future outcomes for planning/forecast cycles.
• Prepare and distribute month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end financial reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial, accounting, and data quality.
• Utilize Excel, PowerBI and other databases to compile, manipulate and format data.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and data interpretation.
• Fluent English with strong analytical, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with PowerBI.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong analytical and variance‑analysis capabilities.
