Finance Expert – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are seeking experienced Finance and Accounting experts to support a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. The role is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries and proper accounting treatment.
• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries and month‑end close workpapers, identifying errors and providing corrective rationale.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial‑system logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics to rank and grade AI responses, and create realistic accounting scenarios for AI training.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in financial accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting or FP&A with substantial accounting responsibilities.
• Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF or rubric‑based grading.
• Strong written and verbal English communication (B2 level or above) and ability to work independently.
