Finance Accounting Lead

About the role

Rappi Technology Argentina is looking for a Finance Accounting Lead to head its accounting function. You will guide a team of accountants, ensure the accuracy of financial data, and act as a strategic partner across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Drive process improvements and raise accounting excellence standards.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports.
• Identify business risks and implement mitigation strategies for accurate reporting.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and SOX internal controls.
• Provide documentation and explanations for internal and external audits.
• Serve as a strategic local business partner, offering technical advice to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Understanding of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to assess and mitigate financial risks.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
