Field Service Specialist – Gas & Steam Turbines

About the role

The Field Service Specialist will perform complex, technically demanding work on‑site for gas and steam turbine equipment. You will diagnose and resolve challenging issues, lead small work groups, and ensure high‑quality service for customers across Argentina and worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Execute specialized tasks on turbine and rotating equipment during installation, overhaul, repair, or modification projects.
• Complete documentation for all installations, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and failures.
• Conduct complex service calls, interact with customer personnel, and provide feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
• Assess equipment condition and apply corrective measures from standard catalogues.
• Handle spare parts, service tools, consumables, and project documentation.

Required profile

• Technical education as a Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electromechanical Technician.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, including 1–2 years on rotating equipment such as gas/steam turbines or generators.
• At least 2 years leading small work groups (up to 5 people).
• Strong command of English (oral and written) and ability to work in multicultural environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice.
