Feature Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior Feature Architect to lead the technical design and delivery of features for an enterprise, multi‑tenant tax platform. This remote position supports multiple concurrent delivery streams and requires hands‑on involvement from specification through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Own architecture for assigned feature streams, defining design patterns across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and external systems.
• Drive reuse‑versus‑build decisions, establish practical guardrails, and ensure non‑functional requirements such as security and reliability are met.
• Define AI‑enabled capabilities, tool orchestration boundaries, and tenant‑safe context handling.
• Partner with team leads to break architecture into incremental deliverables and identify cross‑workstream dependencies.
• Validate implementations against architecture patterns, contribute to architecture checkpoints, and enforce Definition of Done standards.

Required profile

• Senior technical design or architecture experience for enterprise applications.
• Strong judgment in application architecture, system integration, and API‑driven design.
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑tenant concepts, secure design fundamentals, and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication skills to align engineering, product, and stakeholder groups.
