Ex-MBB Strategy Consultant – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

Toloka AI’s Mindrift platform is building a Management Consulting domain to translate real consulting engagements into learning environments for advanced AI systems. We are looking for experienced strategy consultants from top‑tier firms to design realistic project scenarios, tasks and evaluation criteria that will train AI models in high‑level business reasoning. This is a remote, project‑based role focused on analytical design and evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Build realistic consulting project environments with detailed scenarios, industry context, financials, constraints, and incomplete information.
• Design structured consulting tasks for AI agents, such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, operational diagnosis, benchmarking, and more.
• Define evaluation criteria and quality standards, creating grading frameworks, rubrics and golden‑answer solutions for each task to train and calibrate LLM‑based grading systems.
• Produce clear documentation of scenarios, tasks and evaluation guidelines for use by AI development teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney or Strategy&.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems into analytical work plans.
• Experience building financial models, market analyses, or synthesising findings from messy data.
• Track record of delivering client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines and defending recommendations under uncertainty.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project‑based setting.
