ETL Developer (Remote)

About the role

A team of over 200 professionals based in Argentina, which builds platforms used across North America, is looking for an ETL Developer. As a Data Engineer specializing in ETL, you will build and maintain robust data pipelines so that teams can make data-driven decisions. The position is offered remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test scalable ETL processes.
• Extract data from relational databases, flat files, APIs and streaming services.
• Transform raw data into structured, analytics-ready formats.
• Load processed data into target platforms such as data warehouses or cloud databases.
• Implement error handling, logging and monitoring for reliable, traceable workflows.
• Optimize pipelines for performance using query optimization, indexing and parallel processing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely insights.

Required profile

• Intermediate or higher level of English, spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and/or data engineering, with a strong focus on ETL design and implementation.
• Quick learner who adapts to new technologies and evolving business needs; familiarity with Agile is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database)
• Python and C# (preferred)
• Advanced SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Power BI and SSRS (strong plus)
• Nice to have: Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
