Deal Technology Manager - IT Transactions

About the role

EY-Parthenon's Deal Technology practice, within its Strategy and Execution sub-service line, advises on complex global transactions such as separations, integrations and carve-outs. As a Director in this practice, you will manage and execute IT-focused projects across sectors, supporting strategies that enable transactions and covering both pre-deal (operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (integration planning and tracking) engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute IT-focused projects across sectors, supporting transaction strategies.
• Develop experience in pre-deal and post-deal engagements, including operational and carve-out planning and integration planning and tracking.
• Work with senior clients, build trusted relationships and influence their perspectives.
• Lead problem-solving from identification to recommendation, with a compelling narrative.
• Collaborate with colleagues across EY-Parthenon sub-service lines and coach junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Completed undergraduate degree (Bachelor's, Licenciatura or equivalent) with at least five years of professional experience.
• Significant management consulting experience and a track record of leading, mentoring and motivating teams.
• Experience in business integrations, divestitures and/or carve-outs, with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to senior leadership and to work across internal and client teams.
• Reside in or live within commuting distance of the office; able to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed.
• Strong written and spoken English, given collaboration with global teams.
• Ideally: a proven record in an IT transactions role, experience in another large professional services firm, a graduate degree, knowledge of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, and certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA.

Required skills

• Expertise in at least four of the listed IT areas, such as IT strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, ERP implementation, IT service management, data governance and integration/separation planning.
• Analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into insights.
