Data Risk Control SL/Enablement Specialist

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services is looking for a Data Risk Control SL/Enablement Specialist to lead a global initiative focused on mitigating data exfiltration. The role works with Information Security, technology teams and business stakeholders worldwide to implement people, process and technical controls, and acts as a key operational leader and primary point of contact for regional teams on control deployment and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution and operational management of the Data Risk Control program (including the Dataguard program) and coordinate activities that prevent data exfiltration across regions and service lines.
• Work with business stakeholders, Information Security teams, product owners and regional leaders to deploy controls, solve implementation challenges and support risk mitigation.
• Track implementation progress, remediation activities, risk mitigation plans and key milestones.
• Support stakeholder engagement, communications, education and awareness to drive adoption and compliance.
• Help prepare program metrics, status reports, executive presentations and governance materials for leadership review.
• Coordinate testing, validation and documentation of controls and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Technology Risk Management or a similar Information Security field.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and to present at an executive level.
• Leadership, negotiation and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence up and down.
• Strong English, including writing, presentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in policy frameworks such as ISO and COBIT.
• Ideal candidates hold one or more of: CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIA, GIAC, CIPP, CIPT.
• Up-to-date knowledge of external risk trends, business standards and EY's Business and Service Line Risk Priorities.
