Cybersecurity Solution Architect (Cloud Security)

About the role

EY's Information Security team protects data and information systems for itself and its clients, blending risk strategy, digital identity, cyber defense, application security and technology solutions. Within Security Technology Services (STS), the cloud security architect creates architectural artifacts, leads solution development and provides cloud development defense consulting to project teams, leading proof-of-concept efforts to select technologies that fit the EY environment. Travel is under 10%.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery of Cloud Apps Security Solutions, application and workflow-integrated security and risk management solutions.
• Network with stakeholders, policy compliance and certification teams to develop enterprise-scale solutions.
• Work with Enterprise Architects to align with strategic objectives and give input on program direction.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and identify risks, dependencies and financial impacts.
• Lead proof-of-concept, design and implementation from an architectural perspective.
• Maintain architecture documents and present findings to project teams, governance forums and leadership.
• Stay current on industry trends and research continuously.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of experience in information technology.
• 5+ years of architecture experience, including solution architecture.
• 3+ years in enterprise security architecture.
• Ideal: CISSP or CISM, Azure, TOGAF and/or SABSA certifications.

Required skills

• Expertise in GRC, technology risk, cybersecurity risk and enterprise risk management.
• Azure microservices, cloud-native applications and enterprise integrations.
• Archer development, customization, workflow automation and platform administration.
• Integrating Archer, ServiceNow, Azure and security platforms via APIs and automation.
• Risk and control assessments, compliance management and issue remediation.
• Application security, security architecture, data architecture, security analytics and threat intelligence.
• Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Data Lake, Machine Learning and Power BI.
