Customer Engineer

About the role

The Customer Engineer joins DevRev's Customer Experience team to act as the technical expert for a product area, resolving code-level bugs and building customer‑facing features. You will work closely with Customer Outcomes and leverage the AI engine Computer for rapid diagnosis and incident handling.

Key responsibilities

• Own deep expertise in a specific product area (e.g., integrations, workflows, search/AI) and serve as the escalation point for related issues.
• Resolve complex platform bugs, develop new features, and document fixes to improve Computer's knowledge base.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, act as first responder to incidents, and lead post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on software engineering experience, preferably with Golang.
• Experience in customer‑facing engineering or L4 support roles, with strong debugging and observability skills.
• Comfortable with on‑call duties and communicating technical details to customers.
