Creative Automation Motion Designer

About the role

Join DEPT®'s Global Studios team as a Creative Automation Motion Designer, focusing on building scalable, conversion‑focused motion assets. You will work with our proprietary Lightspeed engine to create reusable After Effects templates that power hyper‑personalised digital communications for top brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design and animate reusable creative automation templates in Adobe After Effects.
• Develop clever technical solutions to creative challenges and become an expert in Lightspeed, our custom After Effects extension.
• Maintain meticulous project file organization, including clear layer naming.
• Represent and promote the creative automation team across projects.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Portfolio showcasing projects with a strong technical component.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Experience writing and using expressions in After Effects.
• Basic JavaScript proficiency.
• Familiarity with third‑party scripts, plugins and extensions for Adobe software.
