Cloud Software Architect

About the role

Caylent, an AI‑first cloud services company, is looking for a senior Cloud Software Architect to lead AI‑first, production‑ready solutions for its global client base. You will work remotely with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and deliver AWS‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead software development teams to deliver AI‑first, production‑ready client solutions.
• Own technical requirements gathering, decision‑making, backlog creation, and architectural design.
• Conduct discovery sessions, translate customer needs into actionable backlogs, and produce architecture diagrams.
• Hands‑on development of AI‑driven features, testing automation, and code contributions.
• Coach and mentor engineers, and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience with AWS cloud‑native systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical workstreams and mentor teammates.
• Strong consulting skills: customer interaction, stakeholder alignment, and clear communication.
• Experience delivering complex solutions across backend, frontend, and data layers.

Required skills

• AWS (deep expertise)
• Backend languages: Python, Node.js, C#, TypeScript
• Frontend frameworks: React, Vue, MVC.NET
• Databases: DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• API integration, microservices, event‑based architectures, queues
• CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, AI/ML tooling (LLMs, GenAI)
