Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Avature is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to protect and evolve its sophisticated SaaS platform that runs on AWS and co‑located data centers. You will work across multiple Argentine locations and help ensure the platform remains performant, reliable, and secure as it scales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure.
• Audit platform activity and collaborate with Audit and Risk teams to define security policies.
• Design and implement a robust security layer together with engineering teams.
• Manage identity and access (RBAC) and support secure deployments.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Linux server and database hardening.
• Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and data encryption/key management.
• Experience with hybrid cloud security (AWS and on‑premise data centers).
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and incident response.
