Clinical Site Associate

About the role

ICON is seeking a Clinical Site Associate to support site management activities, ensuring clinical trials are conducted efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support site activation by collecting, reviewing, and tracking essential documents and approvals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date site information in clinical trial management systems and trackers.
• Assist CRAs and project teams with site communications, follow‑up, and query resolution.
• Coordinate logistics for site visits and meetings, including scheduling and documentation preparation.
• Ensure accurate filing of essential documents for inspection and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support timely site payment processing.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Initial experience in clinical research, administration, or a regulated environment (preferred).
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Effective written and verbal communication with a customer‑focused approach.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Comfort working with electronic systems and databases.
