Clinical Lead – Global Study Leadership

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to drive the delivery of regional and global clinical studies across multiple therapeutic areas. You will partner with Project Leaders, sponsors and cross‑functional teams to ensure studies meet quality, recruitment and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical delivery of assigned studies, overseeing recruitment, site performance, quality and compliance.
• Develop and execute patient recruitment and site engagement strategies to meet enrolment targets.
• Collaborate with Project Leaders and functional teams to resolve issues, track milestones and maintain operational excellence.
• Provide leadership to clinical teams, including resource planning, training and mentorship.
• Manage clinical risks, quality standards and proactive mitigation throughout the study lifecycle.
• Support financial oversight, including forecasting, budget management and scope change identification.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical research, monitoring or clinical operations within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• Proven ability to lead study delivery activities, including patient recruitment, site management and quality oversight.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional and global stakeholders.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ICH‑GCP guidelines and clinical trial conduct.
• Experience with clinical trial management processes and regulatory requirements.
