Buffet Steward (Cruise Ship)

About the role

Join the Princess Cruises team as a Buffet Steward and deliver high‑quality food and beverage service to guests aboard the ship. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent food and beverage service in assigned buffet areas.
• Set up and break down stations according to management instructions.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of restaurant menus, bar and wine lists.
• Assist with briefings before service and support promotional beverage packages.
• Keep designated areas clean and presentable to high standards.
• Report any complaints or issues to supervisors promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of food and beverage experience.
• Attendance at a recognized hotel or catering school.
• Completion of USPH sanitation courses and understanding of relevant environmental regulations.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluent command of English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer skills.
