Bilingual Personal Injury Legal Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized bilingual Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support our legal team in managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for English‑ and Spanish‑speaking clients and conduct intake interviews.
• Maintain and organize case files, medical records, correspondence and legal documents.
• Request and follow up on medical records, bills, police reports and insurance information.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, healthcare providers and other parties involved in cases.
• Schedule appointments, depositions and attorney meetings.
• Draft, review and prepare legal correspondence and other case‑related documents.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of documents.
• Assist attorneys and paralegals with case preparation and settlement packages.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Case Manager in a U.S.‑based law firm.
• Experience with personal injury claims, medical records and insurance processes.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using legal case management software.
