US Data Protection Senior Associate

About the role

This position works closely with the US Data Protection team to understand business needs and deliver privacy solutions. The Senior Associate leads compliance initiatives, manages privacy assessments, and ensures robust governance of Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Vendor Due Diligence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of data processing activities, collect and validate records, and ensure compliance with US and global privacy laws.
• Draft privacy notices, review PIA responses for completeness, and oversee vendor due‑diligence activities.
• Collaborate with system owners and project teams to align privacy initiatives, track action items and report metrics to leadership.
• Identify process gaps, lead automation efforts, and prepare dashboards on PIA volume and ROPA updates.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1 or above) with 3–5 years of experience in data risk, governance, privacy or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders in a global or matrix environment.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Familiarity with US and global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and privacy assessment processes.
