Contracts Analyst

About the role

The Contracts Analyst will support the energy business by drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial, technical and service contracts while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts and validate terms with Legal, Procurement, Operations and Finance.
• Identify contractual risks, discrepancies and exposure, propose mitigation measures and escalate legal matters when needed.
• Support internal and external audits related to contract management.
• Maintain accurate contract databases, tracking systems and documentation repositories.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in contract management or commercial administration, preferably in energy trading.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities with a high level of confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Working knowledge of contract management systems and compliance requirements, including AML and risk management practices.
