AWS Cloud Engineer – Platform Operations

About the role

Miratech is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support and optimize AWS infrastructure for Amazon Connect and enterprise cloud platforms. The role blends cloud operations, site reliability engineering, automation, and observability to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enhance AWS infrastructure for Amazon Connect and related services.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate tasks with Python and AWS CLI.
• Improve platform reliability through incident response, root cause analysis, disaster recovery, and production readiness.
• Build self‑healing automation and operational runbooks to reduce manual effort.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and monitoring using CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and release management activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services (Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, Route 53, S3, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB).
• Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid automation skills using Python, AWS CLI, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and pipeline management.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
